Amanda joined the team at Balgownie Veterinary Hospital in December 2014.

Amanda grew up on a farm in Tasmania where her love of animals turned into a dream to become a vet. After completing her veterinary degree through Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, Amanda worked as a mixed practice vet in Tasmania prior to re-locating to the South Coast to pursue the diversity of small animals and hobby pets. Amanda’s particular interests include dermatology, surgical cases and working up challenging medical cases.

Outside of work Amanda enjoys running and spending time with her husband and young Border Collie, Hank.
